Tracked Carriers are revolutionary and versatile carrying products with huge capabilities and many uses. See what our customers say...

AnR Specialists is one of the UK’s most highly regarded contract lifting and crane hire companies. Based in Swansea in South Wales its team of experienced and skilled crane supervisors, slingers, operators and project managers works both across the UK and internationally.

AnR recently invested in a 2200 Pro from Tracked Carriers to run with its fleet of mini cranes and it has gone straight out on long term hire. The battery-powered 2200 Pro has a 2,200kg capacity but is only 950mm wide. Powered by an efficient AC direct electric drive motor, it has 45° gradeability, automatic gradient/speed monitoring, and fully proportional remote control. Other features include on board diagnostics, an adaptable and extendable platform, and an LCD screen on the remote control.

The 2200 Pro makes our projects and our customers’ projects easier, it’s as simple as that. It is great at handling loads in tight spaces which makes it the ideal partner for our spider cranes. I also like the fact that it has a tow hitch available, which means it can be used as a tug for towing machinery around, that makes it very versatile. “It is out on a long term hire at the moment and the feedback from our hire customer is that they really like it.
Shaun Robinson, managing director and owner of AnR Specialists.

Structural and architectural steel erectors SX Services has invested in a 2200 Pro from Tracked Carriers, with a fifth wheel and a dolly. The company uses this combination to move steelwork around sites.

Before this we had to handball the steel which requires more manpower and is nowhere near as safe. Using the 2200 Pro is much safer, plus it also saves us time on site. It is brilliant, a great bit of kit. My guys found it very easy to learn how to us it, they had no issues at all.

Charlie Hafner, Director, SX Services

We use the Tracked Carriers on our own contract lifting jobs and find them invaluable. We have used them to transport everything from pizza ovens to hot tubs. We started with one machine, but they are so popular with our clients and so useful that it has quickly grown from there. This is partly down to the productivity benefits they bring, but also safety. A Tracked Carrier eliminates three men pushing a barrow and replaces it with one man remotely controlling a machine. You can’t get your fingers stuck in the steel from behind the controller and going up gradients is much safer. The lads really appreciate it as it makes their jobs much easier.”

UK Teleport offers a wide range of services to support the installation, upgrade and decommissioning of mobile telecoms cell sites throughout the UK.

The company has invested in a TC 1200 Pro from Tracked Carriers to help transport equipment such as heavy antennas, PSUs, batteries and small streetworks enclosures the final metres to the installation site. It has also invested in corner posts, which it has colour coded to go with specific loads; and the tow ball attachment.

“The versatility of the 1200 Pro is important to us. For example, last week I was working in a field and needed its all-terrain capabilities to carry a 200kg load through a 900mm-wide access gateway. This week I had a team on a street works site where we had to transport a load of 350kg – previously we would have had to use a lorry loader to do this which means road lane closures and traffic management. “By using the 1200 Pro this can save my clients an awful lot of hassle with the local authorities’ highways department. Instead of closing off a road or lane set up a truck mounted crane, we can safely park at the side of the road and unload the kit from the van directly onto the machine, then position it to within an inch of where we want it.”

James Henderson, Managing Director, UK Teleport
